Bardonia man snaps; standoff with police ensues
Tuesday, July 1st, 2008A Bardonia man was arrested today after a tense standoff with police that resulted in the evacuation of the surrounding neighborhood. After an apparent dispute with his family, the man snapped, barricaded himself in his home, and called News 12 to demand that a news van come to the scene. The man said he would not leave his home until the news van arrived. The standoff ended without any major incident or serious injuries.
